Help Desk Support Specialist

Billings, Montana





Arrow Solutions Group is seeking a part-time Help Desk Support Specialist to work in Billings, MT. We are looking for a qualified Help Desk Tech who is well-versed in computer systems and network functions. The ideal candidate must have the knowledge of enterprise level systems and how PC’s link to networks. You will be the first line of defense for tier I and tier II level problems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Input information from phone call into a ticketing system
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Offer timely technical support and teach users how to utilize computers correctly
  • Set up hardware and install and configure software as needed

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in a corporate environment as a computer technician or similar role
  • Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Excellent troubleshooting and knowledge of enterprise level systems and tools
  • Solid foundation in supporting email on computers and mobile devices
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Part-time with at least 25 hours per week and potential of working into a full-time position
