Arrow Solutions Group is seeking a POS Implementation Specialist to work in Billings, Montana. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day support of all Point-of-Sale (POS) hardware and software for the company’s stores. This includes support of computer hardware and software, registers, and network equipment. Candidates must have a strong understanding and interest in computers, as well as a strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new skills.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and troubleshoot failed computer components
  • Log problem calls and resolutions into the Ticket Tracking System
  • Maintain, configure, and deploy POS equipment hardware and software
  • Address POS hardware and software problems
  • Set up new POS systems and perform testing prior to shipping to stores
  • Maintain upgrades and install POS systems
  • Prepare training procedures and user documentation
  • Manage service tickets through CRM software
  • Provide Level 3 support calls for store and office users
  • Perform helpdesk support for desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, etc.
  • Institute new internal systems to increase productivity
  • Monitor and correct DSL issues
  • Participate in training and POS installations
  • Work a rotating shift and occasionally weekends as needed
  • Work overtime on the weekday or weekend when needed

Experience / Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a helpdesk or similar technical role
  • Experience working with all types of office equipment, such as printers, routers, and computer workstations
  • Experience with various versions of Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to identify and resolve technical problems
  • Knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, 8, and 10 - POS software is a plus
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with users, troubleshoot problems, and visit locations for installations or preventative maintenance
  • Understanding of email and internet business applications
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with store personnel in a helpdesk environment
  • Candidates are required to have a legal driver’s license to travel to store locations
